An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and relationship-focused professional to lead the implementation of cooperative and joint management initiatives across the South West Boojarah #2 Region.
This role will play a critical part in delivering the vision of the South West Native Title Settlement and the opportunity to work closely with Traditional Owners, government agencies, stakeholders, and community to implement and strengthen co-operative and joint management outcomes across Noongar Boodja.
As the Cooperative and Joint Management Implementation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in implementing key initiatives, developing partnership frameworks and creating opportunities that support Noongar participation in conservation, land management, employment and economic development.

About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Cooperative and Joint Management Implementation Manager will be responsible for coordinating and implementing cooperative and joint management initiatives across the South West Boojarah #2 Region.
A key focus of the role is supporting the corporation in achieving its objectives by developing and implementing strategic projects, partnership agreements, policies, frameworks, local area arrangements and work programs.
You will work closely to facilitate collaborative management of conservation estate lands and waters, support future joint management opportunities and coordinate initiatives that enhance cultural, environmental, employment and economic outcomes for Noongar people.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the implementation of cooperative and joint management initiatives under the South West Boojarah #2 Cooperative Management Agreement.
Develop and oversee strategic projects, action plans, partnership agreements and reporting frameworks.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Traditional Owners, government agencies and key stakeholders.
Support Noongar participation in conservation planning, land management and decision-making processes.
Facilitate the development of policies, local area arrangements and collaborative management frameworks.
Promote and support initiatives that protect Noongar cultural values, heritage and connections to Country.
Identify and advance opportunities for Noongar employment, training, economic development and joint management.
Manage project budgets, funding allocations, reporting requirements and administrative systems.
Prepare high-quality reports, submissions, briefing papers and recommendations for management and governance bodies.
Maintain accurate project records and monitor the delivery of cooperative management outcomes.

Are you an experienced project and partnership manager who can bring people together, build trusted relationships and turn strategic agreements into practical outcomes?

You will be confident working across Aboriginal and government environments and capable of navigating complex projects and governance processes.

Essential Criteria
Applicants should demonstrate:
Experience managing complex projects, programs or strategic initiatives.
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and relationship management skills.
Excellent written communication skills, including preparation of reports, policies, briefing papers and submissions.
Experience managing budgets, funding agreements, grants and reporting requirements.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across community, government and organisational environments.
Understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols and culturally appropriate engagement practices.
Knowledge of conservation, natural resource management, land management, community development or related policy areas.
Current Western Australian C Class Driver's Licence.

Desirable Criteria
Knowledge of the South West Native Title Settlement and Cooperative and Joint Management Agreements.
Experience working with stakeholders and government agencies.
Experience in policy development, strategic planning and implementation.
Understanding of joint management, conservation estate management or Indigenous land management frameworks.
